ALIADA, the Latin American Association of Cleaning, Hygiene, Household and Related Products Industries, is the leading regional organization representing the household hygiene products industry. It fosters the sustainable development of the household cleaning products industry, offering safe and effective products for the consumer. It also aims to establish synergies and synchronization in the regulations concerning household and institutional cleaning products, through permanent interaction with authorities of Latin American countries, and other related international entities.

A century-old business association, it was founded in 1904 as the Chamber of Soap Manufacturers. In 1982 it adopted its current name, the “Association of Industries Producing Personal, Household, and Related Cleaning Products.” It represents a wide universe of products, which includes toilet soaps in all their presentations and all household products, currently also called "domestic sanitary products". ALPHA-AI is an active member of UIA (Argentine Industrial Union) and a founding member of ALIADA (Latin American Association of the Cleaning Products, Hygiene, Household Sanitary Products and Related Industries). ALPHA-AI represents the industrial sector and maintains a permanent and active presence before national and regional government bodies.
