I would like to share with the audience what the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) does and what it has achieved so far. The RSPO stands for deforestation free, no development on peat, and the respect for human rights in the palm sector. The audience will be informed on what they can do to contribute to the movement of sustainable palm oil.
What are the top three market trends in the Cleaning Products Industry from your point of view?
RSPO members share their concern about a movement in the EU towards no palm labelling. Removing palm oil from your ingredient list may seem a quick fix to companies but is there a true understanding of the impact of replacing palm kernel oil with for example coconut oil? Many organisations support the RSPO in saying that the best alternative to palm oil is sustainable palm oil.
What is the best approach to meet today’s consumer demands?
Consumers expect companies to source their feedstocks responsibly. By sourcing RSPO certified ingredients, companies can meet these expectations.
