Prof. Andrej Kržan, is chief scientist with PlanetCare, the leader in microplastic fibre filtration. He has a background in chemistry and over 25 years of experience in academic research of environmental aspects of plastics and polymers. In recent years his focus is on microplastic and microfibre pollution. Prof. Krzan is also a senior scientific associate at the National Institute of Chemistry in Ljubljana, and an associate professor at the University of Nova Gorica.
Philippe studied in France where he still lives. He has a biochemistry and chemistry education background.
Currently he is in charge of the formulation development for the liquid products division. Previously he worked in different industries, professional disinfection, personal care and as a fragrance supplier in different countries France, Luxembourg, Belgium, South Africa. He has been working with McBride for 16 years.
He is part of the initiators of the sustainability program at McBride, running carbon footprint analysis and corporate education program on sustainability.
Gesche works in Technical Application EMEA at Clariant since 2014. She started in the field of Pharmaceuticals, specialized on excipients for solid and liquid application forms. In January 2020 she took over the responsibility for Industrial and Home Care in EMEA for applications in the detergent market. Gesche is a chemist and studied chemistry at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen from 2003 to 2008. After the diploma she continued with her research studies in organic and polymeric chemistry at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn from 2010 to 2014
Filip has a background in business psychology and has started to specialize in home care as the industry project lead and as Consultant for home and technology industries at Euromonitor. He provides analysis on trends and developments, with special emphasis on broader consumer trends and areas where home care overlaps with other industries. This big picture view helps clients to learn about opportunities and threats, and to take informed strategic decisions.

Silvia Jentsch is a graduate engineer from the Lemgo University of Applied Sciences in the field of cosmetics and detergents. In 1997 she joined ROVI GmbH in Schlüchtern as a sales representative for scientific and technical customer service in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. From 2005 to 2007 she worked temporarily at Dreiturm GmbH in Steinau in the Personal Care application laboratory. After her family time and a social commitment as a personal assistant to a disabled child in school integration, Silvia joined Azelis Deutschland Kosmetik GmbH in 2014 as Sales Manager Personal Care for Germany and Switzerland. Since 2019, she has been working for Evonik Cleaning Solutions as Manager Technical Service in the EMEA region.
